The final University project was to design two books - Process Book and Employability Book.
For the Process Book, the aim was to design and produce a physical editorial piece that features all of the work and projects done in the final year of study. This includes sketches, mindmaps, initial ideas, development, as well as the final outcome, alongside personal reflections.
For the Employability Bookthe aim was to create a physical employability portfolio containing personal branding and strategies, such as personal brand palette, brand application, SWOT analysis, as well as CV and cover letter. The portfolio should also include industry research, industry experience, and industry talks attended. The final outcome is a physical book as well as a digital version.
I wanted my Process Book this year to reflect me and my branding. With a clean layout and by trying to stay true to my brand, I slightly edited the final outcome images by adding a blue hue that follows my brand colour palette.
I believe it represents me as a creative, as well as my brand and the playful side of it.
For my Employability Book, I wanted to showcase the more professional side of my brand. I still wanted it to represent me, so the logo on the cover does not have the cat ears, and the typography is clean to balance out the illustration.
In this book, I also documented and reflected on personal industry experiences and achievements I made during my final year of study.
